Fishing Trips - Information & Tips:

Halibut Fishing

All Fishing Trips depart from Garibaldi and proceed into the Pacific Ocean (15-25 miles out to sea)
Light Tackle and Deep Water Fishing
Salmon and Halibut Fishing, in season
Bottom Fishing Trips consist of ling cod and various bottom fish
6-Pack (6 people)
Daily Fishing Trips, depending upon weather
Fishing Trips usually run May through September
All Fishing Equipment Provided (bait and tackle)

T i p s (what to take with you on the boat):

If you require medication for motion sickness take it the night before arrival. There are prescription patches and other over the counter medications (such as Bromine).
Bring rain gear. In the Pacific NW, the weather is unpredictable.
Bring warm clothing. Toward the end of the day, the wind may pick up.

Hotel Accommodations:

Fishing trips begin at 5am, so you may want to stay over the night before your fishing trip. There are many hotels accommodations located in the area, some 5-minutes away from the marina. If you are interested, listed below are various Garibaldi hotels accommodations:
